I am still listening too - I also tried the fix and it didn't make any difference. Same issue as originally posted.
The administrator has disabled public write access.

Dear David,

The plugin is updated now, fixing this issue. Please uninstall and delete the older version first.
Then install the updated one from WordPress directory. Please feel free to let me know if you still face any issue.
